I am a sports TV and radio play-by-play commentator, journalist, media personality, public address announcer and writer. My sports media experience spans over a decade featuring published work at NBC Sports Washington, Monumental Sports Network, Fox Sports 2, ESPN+, watchUFA.tv, TeamUSA.com, George Mason University, the George Washington University, the University of Maryland, Georgetown University, the World Flying Disc Federation and more. I'm always looking for new opportunities - full-time, part-time, freelance or seasonal - and am willing to take on new projects.
Aside from my work, there are several things I'm passionate about. First and foremost is my wife Ashley who's been with me through the entire journey of working in the media industry. I play ultimate frisbee, playing competitive club nearly every season since I started in college. I also coach middle and high school ultimate teams as well. Outside of sports, you can also talk to me about Big Brother, Marvel, Game of Thrones and Harry Potter. By the way, Derrick Levasseur is who I would argue is the best BB player ever and Captain America is my favorite Avenger.
My play-by-play experience began in college, as do many aspiring broadcasters, but it led to several regular gigs at universities in the D.C. region. Following my work at George Mason University, I've been called the “Founder of Live Television Sports Broadcasting" at the school. Sports I've called include basketball, ultimate frisbee, football, soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball, and lacrosse. I can quickly adapt to any role a team or league would need in commentary while also focusing on developing relationships with the teams and players.
Additionally, I've covered the Washington Mystics for several seasons and multiple college basketball programs in D.C. as a writer.
I hold two degrees, both from George Mason, one an M.A. in an Individualized Study of Sport Communication and my undergraduate is in Communication with a focus on journalism.
I'm willing to relocate and travel depending on the job/ responsibilities.
